Orange County Land Trust Press Release:
LEARN LAURA BREITMAN'S FABRIC COLLAGE TECHNIQUE AND RAISE MONEY FOR A GOOD CAUSE AT THE SAME TIME
Preschoolers do it! Matisse did it! And now you can have a chance to do it too.
Collage artist Laura Breitman, whose work is in the permanent collection of The Museum of Art and Design, and has been published in Smithsonian Magazine, will be giving a two day workshop at her studio in Warwick, NY on March 10th and 11th.. Fifty percent of all profits will be donated to Orange County Land Trust. Space will be limited to 12 participants.
"My husband, photographer Michael Needleman, and I feel very strongly about preserving open space, especially in Orange County, which has been the inspiration for both his work and mine since we moved here in the early 70's" Breitman says. "People have been asking me to give workshops for many years and I thought this would be a great opportunity to raise money for a good cause while teaching people my photorealistic collage technique at the same time."
