An easement donated to the Land Trust will protect 147 acres of prime farmland as well as woods, wetlands and stream corridors in the Town of Crawford. The landowner, who is enthusiastic about the possibilities of alternative agriculture, is raising alpacas on the property. Crawfords master plan encourages specialty crops and livestock.
