LAND TRUST ADDS STAFF
Our Land Trust is growing by leaps and bounds! In the past two years we have doubled the amount of land we have preserved. As a Land Trust we are accountable for proper management of the lands and easements we hold, and our new Director of Acquisition and Stewardship, Carissa Haberland, will ensure that we fulfill that mission. Carissa comes to us after four years working on stewardship with the Columbia Land Conservancy. Prior to that she worked at the New York Museum. Please join us in welcoming Carissa to Orange County! She will be one of the leaders at the Preserve Work Day on March 29. (Photo of Carissa courtesy of Peter Blandori.)
